One Horse Open Sleds

Back in early January we visited Mom and Dad's for a McClaflin Christmas celebration. While we were there we took the kids for a sled ride. They were pulled by mule power. Hazel mule power. The kid's got a real kick out of this. We rod around the yard and even went into the woods for a long ride.

On another sled ride (powered by Daddy and Mommy) we pulled the kids back into the woods and saw a Pileated Woodpecker! (This is a fairly rare Woody-woodpecker type bird.) Unfortunately we did not get a picture of it.
