Is there anyone out there who knows what it is like to have two children of the same age under the weather at the same time? Does anyone have any ideas on what to do with large quantities of snot and slobber? We feel as though we should have started bottling it and selling it as organic hair gel for hippies. We would show you a picture, but we couldn't hold onto the camera after holding the kids.
On another note (sort of) Dane has an idea for a nasal suction system using his air compressor. It uses the principal of eduction. As you increase the airflow across the end of a tube, the suction increases in that tube. Therefore, extracting all nasal secretions and ejecting them through the air stream. This idea originated when Dane had a cold and was unsuccessful when using the kids nasal bulb to extract his own snot.
So does anyone know how to care for two fussy babies at the same time? Well, the point is that our children are under the weather and it is quite the challenge. We would like to know where this bug originated and have an idea that it might have been the church nursery. It is sad to see them look so droopy with snot running from their nose holes to their chins. It is nice however to have four arms reaching for their mommy. Pray for our children if you have a moment.

Yes, along with all the fun comes the not so fun. I know what it is like to have 2 or 3 children sick at the same time but thankfully not the same age. Usually I had at least one that could blow their nose. That is quite a nice thing when they learn to do that. It is worth the time taken to teach that skill ASAP. I am sorry the kids are sick and will pray for a speedy recovery.

P.S.
I loved the air compressor invention. Maybe you should perfect it. Who knows, it could be the next hot item on the baby market.
I have learned to be grateful when mine are all sick at the same time because I don't have to worry about keeping the others from getting it.
Try not to get too hung up on where they got it. Tis the season. I wish I could offer more help. We love you!

If you figure out any tricks, let us know. I would love to see Dane's schematic of the super suction nasal aspiration gadget. :-)
We haven't experienced it yet with our girls, but at some point I'm sure we will. Hang in there.
