Tooth, Toilet Paper, Tooth

We have a few teeth to report. We're a little behind on Alina. She has her 4th on the way. I don't have a picture of them yet for you, but it will come.

The toilet paper part of today's title comes from Alina's discovery of the fun of unrolling bathroom tissue. I was in the next room when I heard the sound of crinkling plastic. I came into the hallway and was faced with a decision. Should I stop Conlin from picking the plastic winter shrink wrap off of the window or do I try to save the other half of the TP roll? The roll spinner was closer, so I put that fun to a halt, and by the time I made it to the boy, he had already moved on to emptying the trash can without damaging the seal on the window. This picture is from another cylindrical paper product party that Conlin joined in the aftermath. The fun never stops around here.

The other tooth story is while we were out and about in the Pittsburgh area, I was about to unload Conlin from his umbrella stroller, when he smiled at me with a one toothed grin!! We were very excited. We were beginning to wonder if he would be gumming his food the rest of his life!

Today I had a little unexpected fun. With the birth of our kids and becoming a home owner, two very time consuming "hobbies", I have not been able to keep up some of my old hobbies. Most of them, don't really bother me because I love my new hobbies so much (i.e. playing with my kids). But, one that I have really missed, and am hoping to get back into is Hockey. Well, today I came home to find a neighbor kid out in the street playing roller hockey by himself. (It was a beautiful day in the 60s here today, by the way.) When I came in the front door, Shawna instantly asked, "are you going to go out an play with him?" I said, "of course!", and hurriedly changed my clothes, put on my blades, grabbed my stick and ran outside to play. He was gracious enough to let me join him. We played for a good 30-45 minutes, just passing and skating and talking. It was quite enjoyable! Posted by Picasa
