Time to Bake

Our son's debut has been delayed. Findings of my amniocentesis on Wednesday were not in favor of him entering the world this weekend. He is still demonstrating some slight lung immaturity and would greatly benefit from one more week in the womb. The selfish side of me is disappointed, but I know this is God's will and what a blessing to have such a test that possibly kept him out of the NICU if he had been taken this Saturday. My C-section has now been rescheduled for April 27th around lunch time. Please pray that his lungs will grow this week and next Friday will be a start of a brand new life in this world. I look forward to hopefully giving birth to a healthy chunky baby next week.
