Family sickness, It's a Party!

Last Friday while feeding Niamh at 6:30 am, Alina wakes crying, which is unusual. I enter and she proceeds to vomit over the crib rail. I did end up catching the second half; by the end of the day she had blown her cookies a total of six times. I am happy to say I caught 4 out of 5, the sixth one was on Dane's watch. I caught 2 out of 4 of those while nursing, which I need be the only one impressed by that :) After process of elimanation of things that it might be, we came to conclude her sickness as a virus. It only lasted ~12 hours, but the question was, "Who's Next?" I am not happy to say, it was me on Sunday and Dane on Monday. It is definitely not easy being sick, but it is double definite when your the mama. I am happy to say that I think that this has skipped Conlin and Niamh. I read that as soon as I get a germ/bug that my body starts producing antibodies to that germy bug. So, seeing that I am still nursing after wanting to quit every week for 10 weeks, I have found the super dooper bonus to being tenacious in my quest of nursing success. I want to thank God for making breast milk so wonderful. As for the reason that this mysterious sickness skipped Conlin. hmmmm. I think that I just wasn't loving on him enough and only showering kisses on Alina and Dane :) Nah, that is definitely not it. I am just quite pleased that it did not affect him.

Alina learned a few phrases the day she got sick..."I don't feel good mommy.", "my belwee don't feel good", "I feel all better now", "Mommy, I need medsin". Today(Tuesday), She tells me right before lunch that " I don't feel good, I need bucket." I think she has catagorized hunger pains in the feel bad category.
Addendum: FYI - The one vomit that was on my watch (This is Dane speaking) was outside and I did keep her from getting it on herself when she threw up in the grass.

Sorry we missed the pool party- we've been dealing with family sickness, too. Hazel was a mess on Monday so that was another reason I decided not to go. But we'll get together another time :)

Well done Dane!

Sorry you guys were sick. Cooper got his first cold last week. Not too bad, but not nice either.
