A Splendid Afternoon

Conlin, Alina, and cousin Gino spent a little time playing in something that some pay a lot of money to do. How much does a mud bath run these days? Right after the fun, Niamh and I made a quick run to Walmart to purchase Conlin's first pair of muck boots. It was under 40 degrees and all he was wearing were socks and tennis shoes, but didn't care one bit. You could tell, however, that he did enjoy his muck boots later on that day. I spent most of the time answering the calls of each kid as they yelled, "I'm stuck," "I lost my shoe," "my shoe is stuck in the mud," "mom help me, I can'tmove." It was lots of fun to watch and be a part of for a short bit, but not as enjoyable shedding all the muck in MiMi's mud room.
