Asleep and Just Before Bed

Niamh is now ascending and descending the stairs (Unsafely), I am his 99% reliable safety net. I continue to strive for that 100% mark, but he sure is fast even with his roly poly stature. At 10 months, he is shaking his head on command, clapping his hands in a "yea" celebration, and raising his hands to demonstrate a big boy. By the Pensive look on his face, I am sure there is more going on behind the scenes. We are in the process of getting a new camera and I seem to be missing these kodak moments, but have had the video camera ready at times. Niamh is forever in Conlin and Alina's way, but we have the standard practice of going through the "he's just a baby" speech and then they say sorry and then we wait for five minutes until it starts all over again. I do think they truly love him though. Every morning, when I bring Niamh down to breakfast, they say, "good morning Niamh" and he greets them with a Huge smile or giggle. He now lays in bed and finds things to giggle and talk about daily. I just can't imagine not have a baby around making such beautiful sounds. Starting yesterday, his body has entered into teething mode. He is cranky with fever and a strong desire to chew on things. He has managed to pop up 4 on the bottom and I think by the bruised swollen tops, the upper front left will make its debute soon.
