Our Niamh
Shawna and I were discussing the other night how we have not blogged as much about Niamh as we have the twins. So I write this to give an update on the blessing God has given us, named Niamh.
One thing Niamh likes to do now is go for rides in the bike trailer. Everwhere we camp he loves to sit in the trailer whether it is going anywhere or not. As we pass by people he will wave, say "hi", or just press is face against the window with a big cheesey grin. Another thing he likes is to always be in the midst of the whatever his big brother and sister are doing (much to their demise). He has also recently started singing while walking around the house and sometimes in his carseat. He now not only copies what Shawna and I say, but is repeating much of what his siblings say.
Another thing Niamh has started doing more of is actually sitting down long enough to listen to a whole story. He still likes the picture books, though, and likes to learn new words to add to his ever expanding vocabulary.
Now a bit about what Niamh is saying these days: Fwyfwoler (see video) is a flyswatter. He has begun to speak in full sentances now, like "Where is my blanky daddy," "I need the lid on my Cherios Mommy," "I need that book Mommy," and "May I be excused please?"
Niamh has also been in the habit lately of coming into our bed to "snuggle" which has already gotten old because he is such a bed hog. We are now promptly putting him back in his bed.
