Spring has Sprung!
Yesterday was a beautiful day here in our little town. Shawna did some garage saling, she and I did some landscaping, and the kids played outside all day. I have included a few pictures here of the beauty of God's creation we have in our little yard. The first here is a couple of dogwood blossoms (I think, post a comment if you know) from the
tree next to our house.Next is the Robin's nest which is located in the same tree. It is not in the tree because that is where the Robins decided to build it. It was determined that their home would be there by a wiser and more enlightened being, me. (Really wisdom had little to do with it, they built the nest on my weedeater and I needed to use it!) I don't know if they will abandon the eggs since I touched the nest or not, we shall see.
We did some other relocating yesterday. My neighbor was doing some pruning along the border of our properties and found a little lilac bush growing under the maple tree in the back yard. So we moved it to a more prominant position on the front corner of the house. He also gave me an azalea bush, which is now in the front. We also bought a couple of spirea the other day and planted them in front of our porch. Finally, some little white flowers (I don't know their name, post a comment if you know) from the flower bed next to the house. They are very small, but very pretty.
Today, Shawna and Conlin went to church together, while I am staying home with Alina. She is under the weather today. Both kids got their MMR shots on Monday and have been feeling the results of that throughout the week. She is sleeping peacefully as I write. I hope you have a great Lord's Day!
