Elevated View of the Capitol

This morning we visited our nations Capitol and took in some of the sights from the worlds tallest masonry structure, the Washington Monument. It was a comfortable morning and the kids fared well. Our tour guide, Preston, also took us to the farmers market before this where we got our breakfast of bluebucks (blueberry buckwheat cakes), blueberry pancakes, and french toast. The pictures are pretty fuzzy looking, mostly because there was so thick of a summer haze, but partially because they were taken from inside a window.
