Welcome Niamh
At 8:54 am on Saturday, April 28 2007 Niamh Alistair McClaflin was born. He came out at a weight of 8 lb 6 oz. and a length of 21.25 in. in length. He is doing well and Shawna is recovering well too.
We came home this evening. And introduced him to Alina, Conlin, his Nana and Grandpa Joe. Alina and Conlin took to him pretty well. Both began saying "Baby!" and "Baby Brother!" and kissing him repeatedly. Of course, Conlin wanted to point out his eyes and say "Poke!" (He does this to everyone for some reason, Mommy, Daddy, Dogs, baby dolls, etc. We will continue to work on this one).

By the way his name is Niamh (nee-um) Alistair (Al-i-ster).

YAAAAAAAAAY!!! Congratulations!!!! I had to laugh when I saw the piccie of Niamh's face close-up. He has the EXACT SAME eyebrow expression as you do in the next photo down where you're holding him.... CLASSIC!
He's beautiful! I'm so glad you guys put pictures up. I have been praying all weekend, and wanted to call, but I know everything is so hectic at the begining. Good job mom- he looks big, chubby and healthy!!! What a cutie.... oh.. now I want to visit PA soon....Great name by the way...what a cutie. Praise God. You didn't feel like you were pregnant the first time with the twins, this time you will get experience the joy and delight of a healthy baby boy! Enjoy him while he's so small! You have been blessed!

Hurray! He's huge! I'm glad Beth sent me a link to your blog. I've been wondering how you and the kids are doing.
I waxed nostalgic seeing how much farther ahead your Spring is than ours. I fondly remember all my "Springtime visits" to VA and WV. You're STILL living well South of us Northern folk...as your pictures illustrate so well!
PS Loooved the organization of the diapers!! How wonderful to see personality traits so clearly, even at such a young age. Before you know it he'll be asking for a filing cabinet. ;)
