First Food

Doc said that my son,the one with a double chin, was not hanging out on the right side of the curve, a.k.a growth chart. So, I gave it a week and after a good attempt at increasing supply, I broke down and introduced tasty pasty rice cereal. He loved it, moaned in agreement that this was a good move, and even swiped the spoon from me as I was trying to keep this octopus from getting too covered with cereal. About the third cereal feeding, we remembered that we used to strap the kids hands down with bouncy straps, which is quite an effective trick at keeping damage to a minimum. We'll get a weight this coming week. Niamh also found his voice 3 thursdays agoand makes those sweet noises that sing in my ears.
