"Give me a Break"

I have waited to create this posting forever! I have officially had one full day of potty training success with Conlin. First, I would like to thank the Nestle/Hershey company, without them this day would not have been possible. Conlin started talking about Kit Kats yesterday and here I am with my Hershey bites, Reese's cups, Fox & Hound movie, mickey mouse clubhouse all of which were not enticing enough even though these are favorite items. So, we started the day with potty talk and progressed into our "choo choo" underwear for the official daily start. He then started the Kit Kat request and I thought that instead of seeing another "dog log" and dirty underwear on the floor I'll offer the Kit Kat bribe. After lunch, I strapped on Bubba Niamh and pushed the kids to the dollar store for the Kit Kat purchase. It has been a hit! The Poop made it in the Potty! He has now let me know that he is ready and I am pushing forward. Who knows where will be tomorrow, but with Kit Kat by our sides anything is possible and if failure is to be all that is achieved on Tuesday then at least Kit Kat will be able to console the mommy :)
