Methane Final Update

You may not remember, but last summer (see August 2006), I put up a posting about my Methane Experiment. Well, I proved that it would work, but never had time to go back and capture any of it. So, as I planned from the beginning, I attempted to empty it onto my soon-to-be garden. In the process of trying to remove very clumpy manure from the larger (about 2" in diameter) hole in the top of the barrel, I pressurized the barrel to the point that the ends bulged out and upon removing a clog from the hole using a stick, it belched all over me. I just thought you all might get a kick out of these pictures. (It's a good thing I rolled up my shorts huh?)
