Happy Resurrection Sunday

Happy Eater to all! We enjoyed our Resurrection Sunday greatly. We traveled to Shawna's Dad's house for a day of Easter egg hunting, visiting, and playing. I sometimes wonder about if the kids get confused about what Easter is all about with the Easter egg hunting and all the silly decorating people do in their yards with bunnies, etc. Well, I answered the question for myself when Alina was doing some drawing and asked "Daddy, what should I draw next?" I answered, "Why don't you draw something about what Easter is all about?" I came back later and she had drawn a big circle with 3-4 "girls," two of which Alina said were Mary and Mary Magdalene. On the other side of the "tomb" there was another figure with yellow wings. This of course was the angel announcing Jesus' resurrection.
